CONNECT

Start inside Shopify.

Contact us about availability for your store. Once you have access, open MerchCanvas from Shopify Admin → Apps and check your data connection in Settings.

  • Use your existing products and media.
  • Review the permissions requested by the app.
  • Confirm your catalog is connected before creating an edit.

CREATE

Build your first edit.

Start with a collection. Arrange products manually or use sorting rules, introduce an editorial card, and preview the result on desktop and mobile.

Save a draft while you work. Publishing is a separate decision—experiment without treating every edit as a storefront change.

PUBLISH

Put it on your storefront.

For collection layouts, open your theme editor’s App embeds panel and enable MerchCanvas Layout. Publish the collection from MerchCanvas, then save the theme and check its collection page.

For recommendations, activate your selection in MerchCanvas. In the theme editor, choose Add section → Apps → MerchCanvas picks, enter its Recommendation ID, and save. Activation alone does not add a section to your theme.
